Susan Gorry Obituary

Susan Gorry, 102, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Daniel Gorry; born August 15, 1921, in New Haven. She retired in 1996 from CHCP and Yale New Haven after many years as a medical secretary. Daughter of the late Consolato and Santa Morganti Ambrogio. Mother of Maureen Jennett of Madison. Predeceased by her brothers Frank (Rose) Ambrogio and James Ambrogio. Sisters Rose Johnson, Angelina (Fred) Milici and Mary (Robert) Petrillo. Grandmother of Gina (the late Edward) Tierney, David (Dannyse) Quoka, Eric (Gina) Quoka, Paul (Sara) Menga, Jason (Mina) Menga and Brent Jennett. Survived by ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Apple Rehab Guilford. Her family and friends brought the greatest joy in her life. She will always be remembered as the most loving, generous, dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

Funeral service will be held privately.
