Sue (Campano) Vernale

Sue Campano Vernale, 93, left this earth on Wednesday January 13, 2021 in Spring Hill FLto be with the love of her life Anthony Vernale.  She was  a former East Haven resident for over 50 years before moving to Florida 8 years ago; born in New Haven July 13, 1927, daughter of the late Angelo and Angelina Campano.She worked for the New Haven Comforter and Pillow Company for over 40 years. Sue loved working in her garden, baking for the holidays, shopping and spending time with her family. Most recently, her favorite pass time was being with her buddy, granddog Chico.  Sue leaves behind daughters Patty Ciccosanti of Spring Hill, with whom she lived and Suzanne Vernale of East Haven She is also survived by grandchildren Anthony Redente, Michelle Ciccosanti, Donna (Shawn) Kale, Marc (Jessica) Ciccosanti and Christina  Calise and Jenn (Jesse Castaldi ) Calise, 6 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild due to arrive in 5 months.

Besides, her parents and husband, she was predeceased by 5 sisters, 3 brothers and her son-in-law William Ciccosanti.

Friends may briefly visit  at MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME 592 Chapel St. Wednesday Jan. 20, 2021 from 9 a.m.  to 11 a.m. Catholic services will be held at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.,CT  Masks and  brief  social distancing must be maintained
