Entered into rest, Feb. 3, 2021, Rosemarie Gogliettino Esposito, 94,  beloved mother of Frank Gianelli, Sharon Esberg, the late Anthony and Richard Gianelli and Steven (David Kelley) Esposito; grandmother of  Anthony and Gabriel Gianelli; Sheila and Paul Esberg, great-grandmother of Haley and Mikayla; sister of Anne Stellato, the late Rita Palumbo, Eleanor Sullivan, Josephine Trotta , Carmel Liquori, Stephen and Anthony Gogliettino; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born Dec. 7, 1926, daughter of the late Frank and Rose Monaco Gogliettino. Rosemarie worked in the restaurant business for many years. She had a devoted love for family, friends, socializing and cooking. In her early years she was an avid horseback rider. She will be remembered  for her wonderful sense of humor and story telling.

 

Family and friends are invited to go directly to Saint Joseph’s Church, 129 Edwards St., New Haven on Saturday, Feb. 6th to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. (Masks and social distancing required) There are no calling hours. MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Chapel St. is in charge of arrangements.
