Pedro Mendieta Tecpa Obituary

Pedro Mendieta Tecpa, 58 of New Haven died Monday, December 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Minerva Cuapio Rodriguez and his children Izarelli Mendieta Cuapio, Bryant Cuapio, Eder Mendieta and loving grandfather to his two grand-daughters. Pedro was born to Ramon Mendieta and Ausencia Tecpa in San Francisco Teclanohcan, Tlaxcala Mexico on June 29, 1964.   He was a devoted father, loyal friend and leader among his community. Pedro passed on his teachings to many and went to many lengths to help anyone in need. Pedro was a mentor to many. He paved the way for many from his community and always offered his home with a warm embrace. He was kind and always looked for a way to make humor from any situation. You would always find him fixing things and coming up with projects to do despite his adversities. He had a love for knowledge and never stopped learning. He never took no for an answer and always found a way to get anything done. In addition to his children and wife, Pedro is survived by his four siblings, Jose Mendieta, Teresa Mendieta, Ramon Mendieta and Marcos Mendieta as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins. Pedro will care for his family and provide them the support they need with love and support. . 

 

His family will greet relatives and friends from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Thursday, December 21,2022 at 397 Ferry Street, New Haven, CT 06513. Following the wake, a funeral mass will be celebrated at 5:30 pm that Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe 397 Ferry Street, New Haven, CT 06513. 

Pedro Mendieta Tecpa’s life is remembered by his hard work, devotion to his community, his strength, determination and generosity. 

Pedro Mendieta Tecpa, 58 de New Haven murió el lunes 19 de diciembre de 2022 rodeado de su amada familia. Le sobreviven su esposa Minerva Cuapio Rodríguez y sus hijos Izarelli Mendieta Cuapio, Bryant Cuapio, Eder Mendieta y sus dos nietas.

 

Pedro nació de Ramón Mendieta y Ausencia Tecpa en San Francisco Tetlanohcan, Tlaxcala México el 29 de junio de 1964.

 

Fue un padre devoto, amigo leal y líder entre su comunidad. Pedro transmitió sus enseñanzas a muchos y se esforzó mucho para ayudar a cualquiera que lo necesitara. Pedro fue un mentor para muchos. Abrió el camino para muchos de su comunidad y siempre ofreció su hogar con un cálido abrazo. Era amable y siempre buscaba la forma de sacarle humor a cualquier situación. Siempre lo encontrabas arreglando cosas y buscando proyectos para hacer a pesar de sus adversidades. Tenía un amor por el conocimiento y nunca dejó de aprender. Nunca aceptaba un no como respuesta y siempre encontraba la manera de hacer algo.

 

Además de sus hijos y esposa, a Pedro le sobreviven sus cuatro hermanos, José Mendieta, Teresa Mendieta, Ramón Mendieta y Marcos Mendieta, así como muchos sobrinos, sobrinas y primos. Pedro cuidará de su familia y les brindará el apoyo que necesitan con amor y apoyo. 

 

Su familia le extiende la cordial invitación a su familia  y amigos de 3:00 p. m. a 5:30 p. m. El jueves 21 de diciembre de 2022 en 397 Ferry Street, New Haven, CT 06513. Luego del velorio, se celebrará una misa fúnebre a las 5:30 p. m. este jueves en Our Lady of Guadalupe 397 Ferry Street, New Haven, CT 06513.
