Pauline Carmel (Vergati) Sparano

Entered into rest, in the hands of the Lord, July 11, 2022, Pauline Carmel Vergati Sparano, 98, of East Haven; wife of the late Peter James Sparano; mother of Paula Sparano (Robert Glassman); sister of Vera, Dolores, Salvatore (Anita) Vergati, Philomena Cognato, the late Katherine Bartiromo, Jennie DaCato and John Vergati; also survived by 3 generations of nieces and nephews. She was born on Feb. 15, 1924, daughter of the late Salvatore and Alessandrina Eligio Vergati. Pauline was a seamstress, having graduated from Boardman Trade School. She was best remembered for her work in sales at Casual Corner of New Haven. Pauline was vice president of the East haven Senior Citizens  and  was a parent member of the Connecticut Classics Drum and Bugle Corps 

Funeral from MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Chapel St., Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church at St. Pio of Pietreclina Parish. Interment in East Lawn Cemetery Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
