Mario A. Gambardella

Entered into rest, April 10, 2024, Mario A. Gambardella, 98, of Orange; husband of the late Gloria DeSheen Gambardella; father of Paul Gambardella; grandfather of Joshua Paradiso, Rebekkah and Adam Gambardella; great- grandfather of Aiden, Brandon and Hazel also survived by several nieces and nephews; born in New Haven April 26, 1925, son of the late Francesco and Maryanne Carrano Gambardella, he was predeceased by sons Mark Gambardella and Cliff Ferry and  brothers Frank, Ralph, Attilio, Anthony and Vincent Gambardella.
Mario graduated from Providence College and received his master's degree from SCSU. He was a microbiologist and worked as a research scientist at Olin/ WInchester Co. for many. years.  After retiring he was a well know real estate agent working well into his 90's for Weichert and Coldwell Banker Realtors. Mario loved being outs enjoying the sun and gardening.
Family and friends may call at MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME 592 Chapel St. Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 a.m. in Holy Infant Church. Interment in Orange Center Cemetery.
