Manuel Antonio Garcia Escoto (Manelo) Aged 89. He was born on August 7th, 1930 in Moca, Dominican Republic.

Entered peacefully into glory on March 12th, 2020   Beloved father to Celin (Sile), Miguel, Renzo and Manuel.

He was a hard-working person his entire life, working full-time until his 89th birthday. Manuel enjoyed reading, staying up-to-date with world events and telling a good classic joke. Manuel was a baseball aficionado from his early years in the Dominican Republic and his passion for baseball continued when he immigrated to the United States. But more than the hard work he performed or the hobbies he entertained, it was his impact on people that really defined him. When he returned to the Caribbean to live in Puerto Rico, he soon became an admired, popular and inspiring member of his community. In addition to his children, he leaves behind eleven grandchildren -Elizabeth, Miguel Jr., Nicole, Antoinette, Erica, Emmanuel, Eric, Chanel, Shana, Natasha, Lea, Elizabeth and nine great-grandchildren. Also, his nieces, nephews, and his esteemed brothers, Francisco Elpidio (Pachin) and Maximiliano Marcelino (Papi). And the rest of his extended family, along with many cherished friends.

Viewing and last respects scheduled for: Monday, March 16th, from 10:30am to 12:30pm

Edad de 89 años. Nació el 7 de Agosto de 1930 en Moca, República Dominicana.Entró en la gloria de Dios el 12 de Marzo del 2020.

Amado padre de Celin (Sile), Miguel, Renzo y Manuel.

Fue una persona dedicado a su familia y trabajo por toda una vida. Manuel trabajo tiempo completo hasta cumplir sus 89 años. El disfrutaba de la lectura, al igual que mantenerse al día de los acontecimientos mundiales y locales. Le fascinaba contar un buen chiste de los tiempos de antes, e historias de su amada región del Cibao. Manuel era un aficionado al béisbol desde sus juventud en la República Dominicana, y su pasión por el béisbol continuó cuando emigró a los Estados Unidos. Fue su impacto en las personas lo que realmente lo definió. Cuando regresó al Caribe para residir en Puerto Rico, pronto se convirtió en un miembro admirado, popular e inspirador de su comunidad. Además de sus hijos, deja atrás a once nietos: Elizabeth, Miguel Jr., Nicole, Antoinette, Erica, Emmanuel, Eric, Channel, Shana Natasha, Lea, y Elizabeth. Además nueve bisnietos., sus sobrinas, sobrinos, y sus estimados hermanos, Francisco Elpidio (Pachin) y Maximiliano Marcelino( Papi), Y el resto de su extensa familia en República Dominicana. Manuel por igual fue muy estimado con muchos amigos. Su fe, devoción y creencia en Dios fue inigualable.
