Entered into eternal rest, July 19, 2023, Lourdes Roman of New Haven. Born in Guayanilla Ponce Puerto Rico Jan. 16, 1959, daughter of Luis Enrique Roman and Lydia Esther Miranda. Lourdes was a devoted mother to all four of her living children Israel Vega, Yanira Vega, Yaritza Vega and Stephany Gonzalez and also to her deceased son Enrique who she will be joining along with her life partner Jose Gonzalez and her parents. . She is also survived by eight grandchildren. She loved children and owned a daycare center. and also worked at Casa Otonal. Lourdes was a very active member of St. Anthony's Church where she leaves behind many friends.
Family and friends may visit at MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME 592 Chapel St. New Haven on Friday July 21,2023 from 8:30 A.M to 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church 70 Washington Ave.. New Haven at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
