Obituary

Juliet Ann Tarascio (Milano) passed away on May 23, 2023 after a long illness.  She was born in New Haven, CT to Jane and Michael Milano on September 9,1942. 

She was predeceased by her husband, A. Joseph Tarascio, her parents Michael and Jane Milano, many Aunts and Uncles, and her two pups Princess and Angel whom she adored.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Armentano, her son David Armentano (Karen), her three grandchildren and one great -grandchild as well as her sister Michele Forsyth (Milano) and her husband Jim and her brother Tony Milano and his wife Rosalie.  She also had 2 nieces and three nephews. 

Julie worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Kmart and later at Xtramart.  After her husband’s death, she moved to New Hampshire and lived out her last days surrounded by love and wonderful caregivers.

Julie was passionate about two charities in particular:  St. Jude’s and her local animal shelter.  Please consider making a donation in her name to St. Jude’s or your own local animal shelter to help those in need. 

A mass will be held on Julie’s birthday, September 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church in New Haven, CT.  A visit to St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven, CT, where Julie has been laid to rest with her parents, will immediately follow.
