Entered into rest at home, June 10, 2023, John P. Giammattei of Branford, formerly of New Haven; husband of the late Dawn Andrews Giammattei; father of John, Jeff and Christina; brother of Frank (Ann) Michael (Jonna) , Lois Kinney and the late Louis D. Giammattei; also survived by 4 grandchildren; born Sept. 22, 1954 son of the late Louis and Bridget Airone Giammattei. John worked as a welder/fabricator for many years and was talented in all trades. He enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing, auto mechanics and riding his motorcycle.
Graveside services will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford CT on Friday June 23, 2023 at 1 P.M.
