Jennie Angelica (DiMeola) Galardi

Jennie Angelica Galardi, 84, of Aiken, South Carolina; formerly of St. Petersburg, FL and New Haven, CT, was called by God on April 23, 2022. She was the devoted wife of the late John B. Galardi; born Nov. 9, 1937, daughter of the late Ralph and Theresa Caruso DiMeola. Jennie worked for many years at St. Raphael Hospital and continued her service at Humana Hospital in St. Petersburg. She was an avid co-owner, with her son Ralph, of a local New Haven florist. Jennie embraced the outdoors and a love of the ocean. She was dedicated to to those she loved and had a deep respect for all animals, especially her Burmese cats and her Dobermans. Jennie is survived by her loving sons Ralph J. Galardi of Aiken, SC, James Galardi of St. Petersburg, FL; and her daughter Theresa Torelli-Colavolpe (Andrew) of Branford, CT She also leaves her three loving grandchildren, Robert J. Torelli, Maria A. Torelli and Giovanni A. Colavolpe.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Church. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
