Gaetano "Sonny" Brasile

Guy A. (Sonny) Brasile, 91 of East Haven, husband of the late Grace M. Piscitelli Brasile died peacefully at home on Nov. 12, 2023; born on Dec. 22, 1931, son of the late Alfred and Mary Branca Brasile; father of  Ronald (Sue), Gary (Kyle) and Guy Brasile Jr; grandfather of Melissa, Jennifer, Amelia, and Alex; great-grandfather of Marc, Lily, Luke, Kiera and Dominic; brother of Anthony (Roseann) Brasile, the late Gerald and Alfred Brasile and Ann Raccio.

Guy was a Sergeant in the US Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict; he was employed as Service Manager for local Chevy Dealers; and retired as a Fleet Manager for Curved Glass Distributors-Whalley Glass Co.  He was a former member of the First Independent Club, the Annex YMA, and was an avid duckpin bowler; he enjoyed baking Pizza and Freselles for his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church on Thursday Nov. 16  at 11 a.m. There are no calling hours. Burial in All Saints Cemetery
