Elijah Isiah Santiago

As I lay in eternal sleep, think of me being at peace on April 16, 2024, Elijah Isiah Santiago, 28 of Hamden; born in New Haven Oct. 29, 1995. He was an iron worker for Local 424. Elijah loved to spend time with his family, loved our Sunday dinners, loved being around his cousins and singing karaoke. He loved to watch UFC boxing and his job.   

He is survived by his fiance Kristen Nieves, sons Elijah Isiah Santiago, Jr. and Jayceon Nieves, his mother Sylvia Roseann Avila (Arthur Walker), father Jose Guillermo Santiago, Jr., brother Jhordan Peterson, sister Tiana Santiago, nephews Justin and Noah Gallogy, grandfather Jose Guillermo Santiago, Sr. (Rose), aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by Israel Sanchez Avila, Ada Torres and Rosemary Grammatico.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 22, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.   Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
