Dolores (Ostrom) Hawley

Entered into rest at CT Hospice on June 18, 2021, Dolores Ostrom Hawley,88, wife of the late Roger F. Hawley; mother of Roger A. (Maria) Hawley, Mary M. (Francis D.) Gargano & Sarah (Steve Votto) Andrea; sister of the late John Ostrom & Gladys O'Connell; also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law of Ricky Hawley, other survivors include many nieces and nephews and her long time friend & caretaker Anna.  She was born in New Haven on October 6, 1932, daughter of the late John and Mary Barkus Ostrom and prior to retirement was employed by SNET.

Friends and family may call at MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME 592 Chapel St. New Haven on Tuesday from 5 p.m.  to 7 p. m. and are invited to go directly to St. Michael Church, New Haven for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 am.  Interment in All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford ,CT 06405 or the New Haven Animal Shelter, 81 Fournier St. New Haven, CT 06511.
