Diane A. Robertson

Diane A. Robertson, 63, of East Haven departed her loving family on October 20, 2022 at CT Hospice. Diane was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica to Lurline Moodie. She grew up in Jamaica and graduated from Montego Bay High School. She then came to the US to live in NYC.

Diane attended Bronx Community College, NY and received her BA in Hospital Administration from Charter Oak State College, CT.  After college, Diane had a very successful career in the Health Care field working for Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Anthem of CT, and Yale University.  

She was a deeply loving, vibrant, feisty woman who was fiercely loyal and protective of all she loved including her fur babies – the many dogs who adored her as well as her affectionate cat, Nico.

Diane had a great fashion sense and dressed to perfection whenever she went out. She loved music, loved to sing, and dance and knew the words to almost every song of her generation. She was a joy to be around and brightened up any room she was in. She will be greatly missed.

Diane is survived by her loving wife and partner of 23 years, Joan Cavallaro Hogan, her stepson Christopher Shand and his wife Brianna, her sisters Sonia Moodie, Mirta Murdock (Jon) and Lisa Robertson (Della) as well as her cousins, nieces, and nephews. Services will be planned at the convenience of the family.
