Delia Leora (Hardy) Manning

Delia Manning, age 78 of New Haven, CT left to be with the Lord surrounded by family on Friday, March 15th, 2024. Delia was born in New Haven, CT, on  Aug.. 16, 1945, daughter of the late Edwin and Elizabeth Hardy. She was also predeceased by her brother, Chick Hardy.

She worked at Warner Lambert in Milford, CT as an administrative assistant for many years. She was a lifelong member of Girlfriend’s Incorporated. She enjoyed catching up with her friends, going out to eat, reading her murder mystery books, relaxing to jazz music while enjoying a glass of wine, summers in Newport, Rhode Island and Westbrook, CT with her lifelong love and husband, Ron of over 50 years, and was a fashionista always shopping for the most current styles.

She leaves behind her husband, Ron Manning of New Haven, CT. Her two children, Candice (Luis) & Ron (Ruthie).  Four grandchildren, Ashaliegh, Ronald, Elijah & Cam’Ron. Her nieces, Beth Hardy-Cox (Joe), Melissa Pullen (Eric) and two nephews, Keith Hardy & Geoff Hardy and many cousins and a special friend Tracey Fagan-Danzey. The family would like to thank CT Hospice of Branford, Taylor Smith, The Morales & Mingrone families.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 19th at Maresca & Sons Funeral Home 592 Chapel St. New Haven from 9 .a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.
