Entered into rest, at his home, May 27, 2022, Allen E. Cable, Jr., 60, of New Haven. He was the husband of his beloved wife Gail Affinito Cable who was his best friend and the love of his life and a devoted father to his three daughters Christine (Sean) Dion, Joeline Carangelo and Angela Cable (Joseph Lombardi). He is also survived by his two grandchildren Gabriella and Aubrey Dion whom he loved very, very much and a sister Ann V. Cable. He was born in New Haven May 6, 1962 son of the late Allen E. Cable, Sr. and Dolores Listro and raised in Orange. As a lover of planes and trains, Allen enjoyed working as general foreman in the mechanical department for AMTRAK for the past 14 years and prior to that as a manager in the local aviation industry for over 30 years. He loved classic and model cars, trains and toys. Allen was a true sports lover and an avid fan of the Washington Redskins, Oakland A’s , Chicago Blackhawks and Washington Wizards.
